REFLECTIONS
REFLECTION OF THE PROJECT
When receiving this project, I was happy and delighted as finally a project in university with my area of specialty. However, including the subjects that we are currently learning into a board game was where I was startled. Furthermore, this project even had me to create a video, a website and a new game in a single go. This project was a whole new ball game for me, but this is where I thought I would be able to learn new things compared to any other projects that I have done before. I even learn to work with new teammates and how to manage our work within the deadlines given. Ultimately, I would like to thank my teammates; they were all giving their best commitment since the start and working towards achieving our goal.
REFLECTION OF SUBJECTS
KINETICS AND REACTOR DESIGN
Before beginning this semester, I was told that this subject was the hardest to be dealt in this semester however I realize this subject is not hard but complex and requires a proper understanding.
CHEMICAL PROCESS DYNAMIC, INSTRUMENTAION & CONTROL
This subject was the first to catch my attention due to its long name. Based on its name, I thought it was theory subject foremost, how was I dead wrong. This subject has more calculation and engineering problems. This subject requires more understanding and practice.
PROCESS SAFETY & LOSS PREVENTION
This subject was somewhat of an upgrade from Health, Safety & Environment subject which I took last year. Coincidentally, it was the same lecturer who thought us. This subject has a lot of formulas and calculation. Each values and units are even significant. Our practice in class solving questions always arises minor misunderstanding in values due to the units. The key in this subject is not by reading but by doing endless practice.
REFLECTION ON THE QUESTIONS FOR THE BOARDGAMES
Regarding the questions on the board game, we decided as a team to 40 questions cards. Hence, each of us were to create 10 questions (3 Hard, 4 Medium, 3 Easy) respectively based on difficulty. Each question will bring your level of thinking into the next level. This was because each difficulty provides different number of troops if the questioned is answered properly. We tried as much to relate to all 3 subjects (KRD, CPDIC & PSLP) into the board game.
PROJECT 2
REFLECTION PROJECT 2
From this group mini project 2, we have done our research on waste management specifically converting waste cooking oil to biodiesel. Furthermore, we also have compared various types of technology and selecting the best technology to achieve the optimum production of biodiesel. Moreover, this project was quite a challenge as it involved the application of the 3 major subjects that we were taking for this semester, KRD, CPDIC & PSLP.
REFLECTION (2nd Half of Sem)
KINETICS AND REACTOR DESIGN
For the second half of our semester, Dr. Mohammad Tazli introduced a very new approach of teaching. This teaching was quite new to adapt to however it is very effective as I can go through and revise back the subject from the video he has uploaded additionally I can learn through the video at my own pace. Nevertheless, using of technology and websites for learning and teaching was a great of hassle as it requires smooth internet connection which we were unable to access. Even with your own data package, the connection was bad as every lecture hall or lecture theatre was a dead zone and access was denied.
CHEMICAL PROCESS DYNAMIC, INSTRUMENTAION & CONTROL
In the 2nd half of the CPDIC course, the subject was getting tougher by the hour. However, Dr Haslinda lecture and exercise helps ease the understanding a little bit easier as she guide us in solving the problems during classes and tutorials. This just shows that more effort and studying hard will be able to understand the subject.
PROCESS SAFETY & LOSS PREVENTION
This course has been somewhat of an understanding subject with less complicating process, theory and calculation. It is a simple concept of prevention and safety features. Quite a lot of theory and calculations but the assignments Dr. Zulkarnain gives at the end of the class is very helpful.

contributions
PROJECT 1
My contribution towards this project is the idea, gameplay and the framework of the board game. My idea regarding this project was to create an extraordinary board game where I, myself has never played it before. I love critical thinking skills and strategy games. I would even say that I’m fan of board games and love to play any new board game that would push me to think to greater heights hence this board game was created. This board game compromises of various types games combine into one.
PROJECT 2
This project my contribution was Question 7 Hazard and Operability Problems and Concept Map for PSLP Chapter 6 & 7.
